Edith, known in her foster home as “Luna” or “Luna Bear,” has the cutest ears you will ever see! Luna and her sister Margo came to the Central Oklahoma Humane Society at the age of 5 months under-socialized and very scared of people. Over the past three months in a foster home, Luna’s personality has blossomed and she is ready to find her family! Luna has great in-home skills, such as being crate trained, house trained, knowing “sit” and “come”, and giving awesome snuggles and ear kisses. Her favorite spot in her foster home is draped across her foster’s shoulders on the back of the couch. She is leash trained, but is still fearful of new people and scary noises so may dart to the end of the leash if something surprises her. Her ideal home would have a confident, well-socialized dog-buddy who can show her that life isn’t so scary. She is only at the start of her long journey and is looking for a loving, patient family that will help guide her and continue her socialization. She will be a challenging, but incredibly rewarding dog to add to your family. Luna would do well in a home with older children and dogs, and would likely do fine around cats. If you give her the chance to open up to you, she will love you to the moon and back.
