Your Junk Mail Means $$$ For OK Humane!

November 24th, 2009

Great news!  The much-awaited yellow and green paper recycle bin was dropped off at the Adoption Center last week!

OK Humane is encouraging everyone to recycle paper and paper goods.  For recycling school and office paper, newspaper, mail, magazines and catalogs (no telephone books or cardboard, please) OK Humane and members of our surrounding community will be making less of an impact on our landfills and helping out the animals.

How much OK Humane will be paid for the recyclable paper in the bin depends upon how often we fill it up.  So take this opportunity to become a little more green and still help the animals!

Thank you!

Where is the drop-off site? This is a great idea and I would definitely like to participate!

The drop-off site is in the parking lot of our adoption center, which is at 7500 N. Western Avenue in Oklahoma City. there is a big Dumpster-looking bin there that is yellow and green; that is where you put the paper. Thanks for supporting OK Humane!
