Tom Cat Fix!
February 10th, 2010On Tuesday, February 2nd the OK Humane Place Spay & Neuter Clinic hosted its first “Tom-Cat-Fix”. On this day we offered $10 neuters for cats. The event was a huge success. We neutered 97 animals during our “Tom-Cat-Fix”.
We had several clients who brought in multiple cats and when I say multiple, I mean multiple!!! We had one lady bring in nine and another bring in eight. The owner that brought in her nine males was able to schedule her 13 females since she was able to save so much on her males. They were so thrilled to finally be able to get all of their cats spayed and neutered that the day after they brought a nice house plant to the clinic. I told them that day I was so happy that they had a “Gold Star House”! It is such an honor for us to be able to help all of these people with multiple pets that have such a hard time affording vet care for them.

Yes, we are scheduling more events like this and will announce them as soon as we have them finalized. We do offer low-cost spay/neuter services on cats and dogs (including feral cats) Monday through Friday of every week–so don’t wait to get that Tom fixed if you can!
