We need people in these districts to call and email their Senators tomorrow!
Below are the Senators on the committee. Each of them has a link with their bios, their districts and their contact information. Please note that Russell’s district is the Southside and into Moore. Ask them to support SB 1712.
Below are listed our reasons for supporting this bill, as well as a link to the full text of SB 1712. You can use them as your talking points or to include on your email. If you know people in the districts of these Senators, call your contacts personally and ask them to address their Senators on this issue.
WE MUST ACT QUICKLY!
Please remember to be polite and respectful in your phone calls and emails.
Please post this on your Facebook, Twitter or other social networking sites. And remember, doing that is great–but you also need to email and make a phone call in addition to retweeting!
