Adoption Numbers Increasing at OKC Shelter

November 2nd, 2009

We are SO excited to announce that our partner agency, the City of Oklahoma City Animal Shelter had 777 adoptions in October–an all-time record!!  3 were ferrets and 22 were “other” (rabbits, snakes, birds, etc.), so that means 752 were dogs and cats.

Congratulations to everyone!!  Great work on behalf of the critters and our community! Together, our volunteers, staff, and friends in the community are turning the tide and increasing the live release rate in Oklahoma City.

Spread the word…adoption is cool!
