At OK Humane, we feel it is our obligation to foster kindness, responsibility and civic engagement in future generations. We instill and cultivate these positive characteristics through our humane education programs. At OK Humane we recognize that the key to ending the cycle of pet overpopulation and neglect is by educating future pet owners. OK Humane is teaching responsible and compassionate pet care and these are valuable lessons that will last a lifetime.
In our mission to teach kindness and empathy toward animals, we work with hundreds of school children, Boy Scouts and other youth groups. OK Humane educators visit schools, daycares and area libraries in order to reach youth from many backgrounds.
We aim to not only improve the wellbeing of animals, we also focus on keeping people safe. OK Humane encourages students and their parents to interact safely with animals by teaching them methods of bite prevention and safe animal interaction.
If you would like to have a humane educator meet with your youth group, let us know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 405-286-1229 ext. 5.
