Contact Governor Henry Today; Urge Him to Sign SB 1712 into Law!

May 3rd, 2010

SB 1712 has passed the Legislature (see the rundown in previous blog posts), but it must be signed by Governor Brad Henry before it becomes a law.

As a last-ditch effort, the breeders, puppy millers and others who oppose SB 1712 are hitting the Governor with a full-court press today.

We have come so far, and are so close to victory for animals with this bill! We cannot let it slip away now.

Please, contact Governor Henry today by phone, at (405) 521-2342, or by filling out his contact form on his web site.

Ask him to please sign SB 1712 into law.

Thanks for all you have done to advance this bill! It is truly because of your actions, each and every one of you, that this bill has been successful. Our voices have been heard and it is the animals that will benefit from this legislation. Thank you.

Please sign SB1712 into law. Oklahoma needs to catch up to other states in insisting humane treatment of animals by law.
