Are you searching for a pet lost during the recent natural disaster in South Oklahoma City and Moore?

If you have lost a pet or have found a missing pet from one of the May 19th & 20th tornadoes  please call the USDA/Department of Ag line that has been set up for public information regarding displaced pets:

Here are several websites that have photos posted of pets they have received within their programs and are looking to reunite with their owners:

    EDMOND ANIMAL SHELTER is holding many tornado Pets. Here is a list of the animals published in the Edmond Sun.
    Also try Norman Animal Shelter east of Jenkins&HW9 which is different than the Cleveland Cty Fairgrounds in Norman, Moore Animal Shelter, OKC Animal Shelter on SE 29th and search the photos at Moore Oklahoma Tornado Lost and Found Animals here at Facebook.

    am very interested in adopting.Looking for short haired dog that is good with small dog’s I have 2small dog’s. I need a large dog for mostly protecting the home front , but will be part of the family.I live alone an it get’s a little scary.My back yard is wire fencing, 4ft tall . would not be a jumper.Looking for female,house broken, an good with other dog’s.Rags is 13yrs old an male, Angel is 3yrs. old an female.Please leave a message at my email, or phone 405-882-9450.I would be interested in one that has been lost from the storm’s. thank you Donna

      Thanks for your interest in adopting! The animals who were displaced by the storm are currently not available for adoption. We will be holding them for at least 45 days in an attempt to reunite them with their families. Animals still unclaimed at the beginning of July will become available for adoption, and we will update here when that happens. If you’d consider adopting a different dog, please go to our website at okhumane.org/adopt for more information.
