Buddy’s Surgery Was A Success!

June 13th, 2012

Thanks to you and our generous community, Buddy the Lhasa Apso mix is seeing the world in a completely new way this morning.

The fur on Buddy's face had to be shaved for surgery, but it hasn't dampened his spirits!

Buddy received his much-needed cataract removal surgery yesterday and is now on the road to recovery.  His eyes are a little swollen from the procedure, and his foster family will be administering special eye drops to him for a few weeks as his vision begins to clear up. Doctors say it could take as long as 90 days for his vision to be completely restored after having the cataracts removed, but his foster mom reports that he is already beginning to see and feel much better!

We’d like to thank you again for the amazing support you’ve shown Buddy that has enabled him to see again. You have made such a big difference to this little dog!
