May 3, 2008 - OK Humane Society Selects "Yogi" from Yukon as New Mascot
A panel of celebrity judges at the Doggy Derby on May 3 selected a new mascot from among dozens of entrants.
"Yogi" belongs to Sharon Tabb and her family and lives in Yukon, OK. He has two furry siblings who pretty much let him boss them around all the time (his new "official mascot" status hasn't hurt his ego any, either!). He enjoys sleeping in with his mom and dad.
He absolutely loves to play catch. He would play all day long & never stop if that was possible. Yogi also loves to play with water from the water hose and playing tug of war with his furry brother.
Yogi also LOVES to ride in the car. When he rides in the family van he puts his hind legs on the middle seat and his front legs one on each arm rest of the front bucket seats, and "surfs" as the vehicle drives along.
As mascot for the OK Humane Society, Yogi says he would like to achieve World Peace.
