Barks and blessings

Nearly 200 animals and their owners attended the Central Oklahoma Humane Society pet blessing Saturday afternoon.
"Our three ministers were wonderful,” said Sandra Bobzien, one of the event organizers. "People were just in such a good mood. There were no altercations between the animals. It just went beautifully.”
The blessing was at Westminster Presbyterian Church and is the first in a series of free pet blessings throughout the metro area. A date for the next blessing has not been set, though it likely will be this summer, said Christy Counts, founder of the Central Oklahoma Humane Society.
